NXT - July Week 3, Year 2

Four tag matches will take place tonight, three of which are a part of the Tag Team Classic.

Match 1. Apollo Crews vs. Wade Barrett
Barrett landed a tilt-a-whirl slam. Crews came back with a Death Valley driver. He then hit three powerbombs. After a near fall, Crews connected with a spine buster and back suplex. He continued with a senton over the top. Barrett tossed Crews into the steps. After a sit-out powerbomb, Barrett won with the Bull Hammer.

Fun match. Barrett is making a case to be in the title picture.

Match 2. Round 1 - Enzo and Cass vs. Blake and Murphy
Enzo and Cass get their win back and advance to round two.

Match 3. Round 1 - Lucha Dragons vs. The Vaudevillains
Dragons with an impressive win to move into the second round.

Match 4. Round 1 - The Ascension vs. The Wyatt Family

The match of forgotten tag teams. Harper took down Konnor and landed some punches. He then hit Viktor with a German suplex. The Wyatts hit a double back body drop. The Ascension wore down Harper. The Wyatts came back and hit Viktor with the 3D and won.

Even after a long absence, the Wyatts are still good.

Match 5. Edge vs. Randy Orton

Main Event. Stone Cold and Finn Balor vs. Kevin Owens and Brock Lesnar
Austin caught Owens with a spine buster at the opening bell. Owens hit a German suplex and tagged in Lesnar. He hit a big powerbomb and gutwrench. Balor came in and worked over Lesnar. Owens came in and hit Balor with a back suplex and release German. Owens and Lesnar tossed Austin around like a sack of potatoes. All four men brawled in the ring. After a cannonball splash, Owens hit Austin with the pop-up powerbomb and won.

Lesnar and Owens worked surprisingly well as a team. If it continues...watch out.

Recap: A good start to the tag tournament. Lesnar and Owens are suplex machines.
