WWE - April Week 4, Year 2

This is the go-home show for WWE Backlash. Yes, Backlash.

Match 1. Kane vs. Big Show vs. Sheamus

Match 2. JBL vs. Tyler Breeze
JBL and Punk needed to be separated after the match.

Match 3. Dolph Ziggler and Chris Jericho vs. The Miz and Rikishi
I wonder how Miz and Rikishi will fair. Zigs hit Miz with a sit-out face buster and back suplex. Rikishi beat down Jericho on the outside and then tagged in Miz. Jericho landed a suplex and diving elbow. Ziggler escaped from Rikishi and tagged in Jericho. He hit the Lionsault and won.

A good showing for Jericho and Ziggler. Moving up the mid-card ranks.

Match 4. Stardust vs. Kama Mustafa
Kama continued his attack after the match.

Match 5. Ryback and Mark Henry vs. Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose
Ryback hit Reigns with the backpack stunner immediately. Henry slammed Ambrose multiple times. He then tossed Reigns up in the air and let him drop. Reigns came back with a slam and fall away slam on Ryback. Henry busted Reigns open with a knockout punch. Reigns speared Henry, but got a near fall. Henry recovered and hit Ambrose with a World's Strongest Slam to win.

Two big alliances entered. One came out victorious. Big win for The Industry.

Main Event. Seth Rollins vs. Batista
Batista tossed Rollins around a bit on the outside. Rollins came back with a missile dropkick. He then got a near fall after the school boy heel kick. Rollins went to the top, but Batista caught him in mid-air with a spear. He then busted Rollins open with mounted punches. Rollins shook it off and won with a double underhook front facelock drop.

Wow. I was not expecting that outcome for the main event. Rollins looks good, though.

Heat
Match 1. Fandango vs. Xavier Woods

Match 2. Brian Pillman vs. Wade Barrett vs. Bam Bam Bigelow

Match 3. The Dudleyz vs. Wyatt Family

Recap: Rollins looks strong heading into Backlash. However, The Industry looks formidable, too.
